This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect when you use our website, mobile applications, and any of our products or services (collectively, the "Services"), including our AI-powered matching platform that connects product vendors with retail buyers, whether accessed via computer, mobile device, or other device (collectively, "Device").
We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the policy and, in some cases, we may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our homepage or sending you an email notification). We encourage you to review the Privacy Policy whenever you access the Services to stay informed about our information practices.
By using the Services, you hereby agree with and consent to the collection and processing of your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy.
Your personal information may be collected, processed, and stored by Buyers Connect or its service providers in the United States and other countries where such servers reside. You hereby agree with and consent to the transfer of your personal information to the United States and other countries where we and our service providers operate.
You may have a legal right to withdraw your consent to Buyers Connect's collection and processing of your information, or to the transfer of your personal information across borders. To request to withdraw your consent, please contact us as set forth below.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to, and we are not responsible for, the privacy, information, or other practices of any third parties, including any third party operating any site or web property that is available through the Services or to which the Services contain a link.
1. Collection of Information
A. Information You Provide to Us
We will collect any and all information you provide to us, including the following types of information:
Account Registration Information. If you register for an account with the Services, we require that you provide certain personal information that could reasonably be used to contact you or identify you personally, which may include, but not be limited to, your name, email address, postal address, phone number, business name, business type, business address, job title, and any other information you choose to provide.
Vendor Information. If you are a Vendor using our platform, we collect information about your company and products, including: company name and description, brand information, product names, categories, descriptions, images, SKU numbers, pricing information, packaging and dimensions, distribution information, manufacturing location, availability dates, regulatory and compliance information, and marketing materials.
Buyer Information. If you are a Buyer using our platform, we collect information including: company name, store count, retail channels, product categories of interest, geographic reach, sourcing preferences, and purchasing requirements.
Payment Information. If you choose to make a payment on or using the Services (e.g., to remit subscription fees), Buyers Connect may ask you to provide your name, mailing address, telephone number, email address, and certain financial information (e.g., credit or debit card number) for purposes of processing that payment. Such information is sent directly to our third-party payment processor for processing. Buyers Connect does not directly access, handle, or store your credit or debit card information, except that we may store the last four digits of your card number to assist with recurring payments.
User-Generated Content. If you choose to create, post, upload, or otherwise provide any messages, text, files, images, graphics, photos, comments, videos, information, content, ratings, reviews, data, questions, suggestions, or other materials through our platform, we will collect all such user-generated content. You are responsible for any and all such user-generated content.
Communications. We collect information when you communicate with us, including through email, contact forms, customer support requests, and surveys.
B. Information We Collect Automatically
When you access or use our Services, we automatically collect a variety of information, including:
Platform Activity. We collect information on how the Services are used, including features you use, search parameters, products viewed, matches generated, communications between Vendors and Buyers, and other transactional and marketplace data.
AI Matching Data. Our AI matching technology collects and analyzes data about your products, preferences, and platform activity to generate relevant matches between Vendors and Buyers. This includes product fit scoring, category alignment analysis, compliance flags, trend signals, and other matching metrics.
Technical and Log Information. When you visit our Services, we automatically record data including the type of browser you use, access times, pages viewed, your IP address (which may provide approximate geographical information), and the page you visited before navigating to our Services.
Device Information. We collect information about the Device you use to access our Services, including the hardware model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
Location Information. We may collect approximate geographic location information from your IP address and, with your consent, more specific location information from device-based location services.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies. We use various technologies to collect information, including cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies. Cookies are small data files stored on your hard drive or in device memory that help us improve our Services and your experience, see which areas and features of our Services are popular, and count visits.
C. Information We Collect From Other Sources

• Generate and deliver AI-powered matches between Vendors and Buyers

• Send you important information regarding your account, changes to our terms, and other administrative information
B. AI Matching and Personalization
• Power our AI matching algorithms to connect Vendors with relevant Buyers
• Analyze product fit, category alignment, compliance requirements, and trend signals
• Generate match scores and recommendations
• Personalize your experience on the platform
• Improve the accuracy and relevance of our matching technology
• Develop insights about market trends and buyer preferences
C. Promotional Communications
Buyers Connect may, to the extent permitted by applicable law and in accordance with your preferences, use collected information to send you promotional communications about Buyers Connect and our products and services. You may opt out of receiving promotional communications from us at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions contained in the applicable email or by contacting us.
D. Analytics and Improvement
• Analyze usage patterns and trends to improve our Services
• Develop new products, features, and services
• Conduct research and analysis
• Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of our Services
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide customer support
E. Aggregated and De-Identified Data
We may anonymize and aggregate personal information and user-generated content, and use that aggregate data for our business purposes, including to understand platform usage patterns, improve our Services, generate market insights, and share aggregate trends with third parties. Once de-identified or aggregated, we will not attempt to re-identify the data.
F. Legal and Safety Purposes
We may use and share collected information in accordance with and in response to regulatory authorities, courts with competent jurisdiction, valid law enforcement requests, governmental agency requests, emergency services, and other necessary third parties for legal, protection, security, and safety purposes.

A. With Other Platform Users
We share information between Vendors and Buyers as necessary to facilitate matches and connections on our platform. For example, when a match is generated, we may share Vendor product information with matched Buyers, and Buyer category interests with matched Vendors. The specific information shared is limited to what is necessary to facilitate the connection and any subsequent business relationship.
B. With Service Providers
We share information with vendors, consultants, and other service providers who need access to such information to carry out work on our behalf, including website hosting, data analysis, payment processing, email services, marketing services, and customer support.
C. With Affiliates
We may share information with our affiliated entities for purposes consistent with this Privacy Policy.
D. Business Transactions
If Buyers Connect undergoes a change in control, acquisition, merger, reorganization, or asset sale, we may transfer, sell, share, or otherwise disclose collected information to the subsequent owner(s) or successor(s) of those transactions.
E. Legal Requirements
We may disclose information: (a) as permitted by applicable law; (b) to comply with any legal process; (c) to respond to requests from public and government authorities; (d) to enforce our Terms of Service; (e) to protect our operations or those of our affiliates; (f) to protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property, and/or those of our affiliates, you, or others; and (g) to allow us to pursue available remedies or limit the damages we may sustain.

4. Data Retention and Security
A. Retention
We will retain your personal information for as long as it's needed to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize it; if that is not possible, we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.
B. Security
Buyers Connect takes reasonable measures designed to help protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Please be aware, however, that no data transmission over the Internet is 100% secure and any information disclosed online can potentially be collected and used by parties other than the intended recipient. If you have reason to believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure, please immediately notify us.

A. Account Information
You may update, correct, or delete information about you at any time by logging into your online account or emailing us at [support email]. If you wish to delete or deactivate your account, please email us, but note that we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
B. Cookies

11. Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking
We may allow others to serve advertisements on our behalf and to provide analytics services. These entities may use cookies, web beacons, and other technologies to collect information about your use of the Services and other websites, including your IP address, web browser, pages viewed, time spent on pages, links clicked, and conversion information. This information may be used to analyze and track data, determine the popularity of certain content, and deliver advertising and content targeted to your interests.
